Imago Theatre's ZOO ZOO

The Imago Theater production of ZOO ZOO, a new production with the best of their work, is back in Alaska by popular demand and Fairbanks will get the opportunity to see the whimsical extravaganza this weekend.

The last time Imago performed it was to a sell-out crowd at Hering Auditorium.  The response to the 2007 Alaska tour was so positive that the Anchorage Concert Association teamed with Fairbanks Concert Association to book the Portland Oregon based troupe in 2010. The second half of the FCA season begins on the 24th with the ZOO-ZOO performance at 7:00 PM at Hering.

The show includes—if you will pardon the spelling—Rabbitz, Penguinz, Hippoz and an improbably proper Anteater, all concocted with the rich imagination and delivered with the athletic agility that has become the Imago hallmark. The result is something that literally has to be seen to be understood.

 The two day appearance in Anchorage is already filled to the point that would-be attendees are placing ads on Craigslist for seats.  Fortunately for Fairbanks theatrical entertainment lovers, not only do you not have to make the long drive down south to fight for a seat, but there are still seats available for the upcoming performance, but the best won't last too long.

The last time the Imago Theater appeared in Fairbanks was on Jan 28, 2007, when over 1150 people attended a sold-out performance at Hering. To commemorate the return of the Imago Theater to Fairbanks, the FCA website is on the hunt for local memories of Imago's previous engagement, the best of which we will showcase on Friday.
